  • Halloween? Got to get ready for the hordes of candy hungry yunguns. Do we hang our stockings up? No, that will come soon enough. Do we put on a different face? No. the one I got, is scary enough. We have to buy some candy, and lots of it, so that we will have some left over for our selves. Got back from the store, all set, for the mob. Was surprised how courteous all were. One group, sang me a nice little song. All these candy hungry persons, were human.  So on they came, cleaning us out of candy. I didn’t need any. Thats all right. Next day, went back to the store, to get some more. All my faverite kind gone. Oh, thats all right. Have a nice day. I really enjoyed it all, I hope you did.

  • We had zero candy-kids at our door–one of the advantages of living in rural Alaska. The resident candy kid, Kathy’s 23-year old teenager, ateĀ  all we had gotten himself.

But we enjoyed Halloween, especially since it was our 13th wedding anniversary.

  • I should have sent half my candy your way
