  • I could not fix the old fountain, and bird bath, so yesterday, went to home depot, and got a new one. The new fountain is a lot lighter, and easer to maintain. As I was puting it up, the birds where watching, and wondering, what that old dork was doing, anyway. I should mabe put up a all birds whelcome sign. or this is for youse guys.

  • I bet the crows are very happy

  • They knew exactly what you were doing I always put our scraps out the front each morning and if I am late they start to squawk. I find that the minah birds have chased the smaller ones away I don’t know where they go when it gets cooler, but the sparrows go round the back as Matt has put a hanging thing in front of his bedroom window so he can lay and look at them feeding off a bird food block ,he puts on it .The Magpies love my scraps of meat of which i usually have plenty. Sorry to be so long visiting ,everything comes to those that wait. Ha Ha Cheers Marj

  • you are so good to the birds around there. I am looking for onw of those wooden wishing wells to put in my front yard to plant flowers in. maybe I will get a bird bath one day

  • I know the birds know it when they have a human friend. When I go out to fill the birdfeeders in my back yard, they all gather in a nearby bush and just sing at the top of their lungs all at the same time. I say “Hi birdies” in a soft voice and I know they know I’m taking care of them. Yours do too.
