Big morning, here in birdville. There are three more barn swallows have found their wings, and taken to the skies. The excitement, the adventure, of being able to soar through the skies, like a bird.
. After a few hours of excitement, and adventure, the three young one’s, are now back in the carport, sitting on a rail, wondering why all that adventure, is so tiring, and the momma is bringing them food. Sometime’s she forgets that their no longer in the nest, fly’s there, and then remembers they are out. I have enjoyed these guys, and they know who I am, and I am no danger to them. I can walk right by them, and they just look at me, in a knowing way.

Birds are fun. We’ve got a few living in nests under our deck but I don’t know what kind they are.
You certainly have an affinity with the birds. Matt and I are like that, we even name our Magpies, Maxie but of course we never know which is which, so they are all maxie. The other birds that we call Minah birds always chirrup thanks, when we throw something out but as I have said before these are the only ones we see here, except for hordes of white cockatoos occasionally and they just make a noise and soil the clothing on the line. Cheers Portia

You would of liked to have seen the Hawk that was on my neighbor front porch rail the other day!
We can learn so much by observing wildlife…
