  • AW, the peace and serenity, of gardening.
Going out, to the garden, to do the last picking of the peas, the dog and I. The sun was bright, and warm. The dog headed for the shade, that the corn and bushes made, as I started to pick the peas. What a nice after noon. It then came to me, the it wasn't, peaceful, and quiet. There was a flock of kids, having a pool party next door. The noise the kids were making, was enough to curl your hair, The loudest of the kids, had a real nagging voice. I was thinking don't kids have naps, any more. After about an hour of this serenity, the dog and I retreated to the house. As we sat on the patio, shucking peas, we could still hear, that nagging voice of the little dear. Good stamina. They kept it up for four, or five hours. I am happy. they were having a good time. The rest of us, can go to hell, huh.

  •  Being retired, a lot of the time, I have trouble finding things that interest me. Oh ya, I thought about paper dolls, but I couldn't find the scissors. So being a woods person, I made my self a park. It kind of worked out to look like one of the side hills I once worked. On that little spot of heaven, every day we worked there, there were eagles coasting back and forth, high above us. We pretended, that they were vultures, waiting for us to make a wrong move. Most of the trees ended down on the road. MY VIEW.

  • We have hedges, on three sides of our property. These hedges, are not on our property, they are around it. Hedge, on the right, was planted, by the original owner, and allowed to grow tall, and wide. I started to trim my side, but the next people, and the one's after, did next to nothing on their side. I gave up trimming it, it is now, ten feet tall, and six feet wide. Back hedge, is ornamental trees, but allowed to grow unattended. Some reaching fourteen feet tall. Hedge on the left, or trees on the left, Have grown to ten feet high, and it looks like, that's the way they want it. They have two boys who play ball, and golf on their land, and continually, hit my house, with soccer balls, and golf balls, and we get sorry. Even with the high tree hedge, they manage to get the balls over. Talk about getting hedged in. The lady in the back with the ornamentals, like to wave at me every day, but I have to stick my hand between the trees to wave back. The guy on the right hedge, doesn't believe in working on his place. It's going to be interesting, to see how this All PLAYS OUT.

  • Big morning, here in birdville. There are three more barn swallows have found their wings, and taken to the skies. The excitement, the adventure, of being able to soar through the skies, like a bird.  . After a few hours of excitement, and adventure, the three young one's, are now back in the carport, sitting on a rail, wondering why all that adventure, is so tiring, and the momma is bringing them food. Sometime's she forgets that their no longer in the nest, fly's there, and then remembers they are out. I have enjoyed these guys, and they know who I am, and I am no danger to them. I can walk right by them, and they just look at me, in a knowing way.

  •  Most mornings, in the summer, I make my breakfast, and have it on the patio. Most of the summer, a male sparrow, has been hanging around this bird house, going cheep, cheep. No female, just him, going cheep, cheep. Yesterday, I could hear him, but couldn't see him. I got my little ladder, and probed the house, with my fingure. He came out of there like a shot. I was so surprised, I almost fell off the ladder. So the story is. This couple of sparrows, came to this neighborhood, to set up house keeping, and raise a familly. Got the house all ready, and the female went to the store, to get some bugs and stuff, and never came back. So the male bird, being a good mate, was waiting for his love to come back, all that time. What devotion. Quite sad, but it good to see, even birds have feelings.

  • The birds in the wee hours of the morning, after having their rest, all got up from their nest. Seeing it's sunday morning, they all went the bird bath, to get cleaned for their sunday morning service. The good bird, all sat on the railing, as the crow delivered the message of hell and damnation, and after he had his flock feeling as piss poor as he could, he said, aw shucks, lets go eat. So the birds, after the had that over with, all flew of for breakfest, which I will do right now.

  • Every year, I grow tomatoes. I grow them in a 8 by 6 small green house. I grow them in there, because, if you grow them out side here, the tomatoes get black, instead of red, got something to do with the rain. I grow three plants which produce, much more, than we can use. Every year, the relatives say, grow lots of tomatoes, and we will take what you can't use. Every year, there are lots of tomatoes, and where are the people? gone. One would think that I would smarten up, and grow less, but oh no, I take them at their word, and wonder what I will do with them all.  I wish the great tomato, would rise up out of the tomato patch, and save me from all this aggravation. Or maybe, I could just smarten up.

  • Update, on Ming, and fence. A few years ago, there was no fence on that side of my property, just a hedge. The place on the other side, of the hedge, was, and still is, a un, looked after jungle, and Ming, used it for his morning trips. New owners moved in to the place, not long after that I got a complaint, about the dog going there. I put up a fence, to keep Ming from going there. There is no fence, in front of the properties, so at the start had a lot of training of Ming to not go around the end of the fence. Now Ming goes a short way on the other side of the fence, but not to go farther. This day, it was farther. It doesn't matt what Ming does over there, as long as he doesn't go past the limit Set by me. Ming only like's smell the green (ugly) hedge. I thought the whole thing was very funny. If any buddy thinks animals are dumb, well then. So I came to this planet, as a dog, what do you want from me.?

  • I let the dog out every morning. It is his job to check on all the vegetation, in the morning. After a while, I look out the window, to maybe see what he's up to. This morning, I looked out the window, and there he is, on the other side of the fence. He was kinda behind a hedge tree, scratching in a heap of dead grass. He was peeking around the hedge tree, to see if I was looking, Knowing he's not to be there. I went out side, and just motioned, with my hand to come out of there, and he started walking back, as if to say, I was wondering when you'd come, busted again.

  •  There is a lot of things, I see differently, than what others see. But never the less, it's what I see, and being the independent person I am, I go the way I see things. What I see, may change at any time, if I find a new way to look at it, so, all things I see, are not written in stone, for me, and can be changed any time. There are many time's, I have made a assessment of something or other, and not long after, my assessment, changed. Some would say, can't he make up his mind. I say, it is growth of a perception, which in the end result, I come to a better reading on said perception. But, there is never any real ending, always farther, into the realm of what is. This make's one more open to the possibility of seeing farther, of what is.
