I find it interesting, the way we need to color, our experiences. It seems that any thing that happens, needs to be colored. What the hells he talking about? Okay, the dog walked on the grass, blah. To color it, we could say, the dog walked on the grass briskly,or the dog was dragging himself, across the grass. One doesn’t have to color every thing black, or white. We didn’t get any fish, what jerk hole of a place, or We had a great time boating, and we didn’t have to clean fish. One can make up any color they want, some bright colors work too. My view.

And a great view it is!
I think I must have originally practiced your style of storytelling, because I remember my eighth grade English teacher admonishing me to put in more adjectives to color it up.
