Whine On
Being a smoker, these people who are against smoking are pissing me off. These are coming up with all kinds of reason not to smoke. If there true or not. It’s always the same old, same old. The damage these yap boxes cause, is not doing anything to improve our rights and freedoms, to choose what is right for our selves. They should go out and get a real job, Instead, of being on our backs. I don’t like people who keep pointing fingers at others, and try to force them to their way of thinking. The worst is they get the government to raise tobacco tax disgustingly high. The government says, we will be glad to get more money in, but all under the guise of health. I like smoking. It relaxes me. When I was working, in a bad situation or not, I would sit down every now and then, have a smoke, and think things over. Relaxed, I would then do what needed to be done. I did get a safety award. Smoking isn’t for every one. Individual preference. I have nothing against not smokers. Just none smoking groups, who should find real work, and leave us alone. If you don’t like reading this, buy a book.

Just so long as I don’t have to share the same air in close proximity to a smoker I’m fine with it.

Lol… Good blog Elmer. I am with you. People should have a right to choose. And as you say, the govt. is more than willing to up the “sin” tax not because they are concerned for your health. It is because they want your money.
I’m a x-smoker…not fond of the smell of others smoke. I’m sure you can enjoy yours away from us. It’s the clean fresh air I want to breath now..
As an ex smoker of 60 a day for 14 years ,I now can’t stand the smell. I still think it is everyones right to do what they want. It was hard ,I gave up cold turkey after my husbaND HAD HIS HEART ATTACK i FELT i COULDN’T KEEP BLOWING OVER HIM. i ATE A LOT OF SWEETS AND SUFFERED BUT THE MONEY i NOW SAVE MAKES IT ALL WORTH WHILE. tHE GOVERNMENT WOULD BAN IT ALL TOGETHER, IF THEY DIDN’T MAKE SO MUCH MANEY OUT OF IT. mY FAMILY HAVE HALF GIVEN UP ,AND THE ONES THAT STILL SMOKE ALWAYS GO OUT INTO THEIR GARDENS, EVEN IN THERIR OWN HOMES, AND ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY VISIT. eNJOY WHILE YOU CAN. iT IS YOUR LIFE. cHEERS MARJ sORRY FOR CAPS LOCKS TOO HOT TO REWRITE IT ALTHOUGH WE ARE IN TO aUTUMN IT HAS BEEN HOTTER THAN SUMMER.
