I love roses! (and I have the scars on my forearms to show for it) Used to tend a rose garden at my old place of employment. Can’t wait to have my own yard so I can grow my own. Funny how even though the thorns scratch deeply we keep going back for more. Roses are an excellent metaphor for life.
I think there are no disadvantages to the rose. It is very beautiful and has thorns to protect it. If you wish not to be bitten, you must handle it gently.
Its only disadvantage is if the thorn pricks your finger. I love red roses. Cheers Portia
Like a lot of things. It may look good, sound good, but is it absolutly good, or is it all that is.
