  • I guess, were into birds. Sparrows, mostly. We have three bird houses up, and three nests down, all having three sets of baby’s per year. Bird feeders under the eves, over the walk way, where sweeping up the unused bird seed, was regular. Fed up with clean up, I moved the feeder out to the middle of the lawn, on a steel pole. Now we have not only sparrows, but lots of different birds, that we havent seen before. We are delighted.

  • It has been quite exciting, actually to see the newer birds come, a couple of little yellow ones I call wild canaries, and I do wish I had seen the one you thought might have been a dove. Even the Stella Jays are happy you moved it out onto the lawn. It was a great idea.
