We had quiet a storm the other evening. Lots of rain, and very strong wind. Not a really big deal, until the electricity went out. Okay, the lights should come on soon? Five hours later, we were stitting the dark. No TV Nothin to do, and the wife reading with a flash light. I was sitting there trying to remember what I did, when we didn't have TV. I couldn't remember the good old days, when we didn't have TV. I finally came up with a solution. I could sit, and watch the wife read. that seemed exciting , so that's what I did. A person can always find something exciting to do. I made a mental note, always make sure the light bill is paid, and be ready for a storm. Before the storm, I was making bread in the bread maker whet the lights went out. It was on the second rise, and we had to try to finish it in the oven. It worked not well. So had to make a new loaf next  day. Isn't this exciting folks, don't try this at home.

As far as I'm concerned, If xanga is down for a day or two, what's the big deal. They always get it running again. I think their doing a fine job. Lighten up I say. The world has not come to the end. I don't intend to take my other frustrations out on xanga.

There's father grinning from ear to ear. What would he have to smile about, on this here father's day with a hint of devilment. THE KIDS ARE ALL MOVED OUT.        Acually, my kids moved out long ago, and all made a good life for them selves. I am proad of all five of them.

For those who wished me a happy birthday, I THANK YOU. I now have one more clean shirt left . I am surprized that, at this age, I am feeling very good. Maybe my body does't know how old it is. I'm not going to tell. My # 3 son, took us out to dinner last night, and I sure appreciated it. He seem to like doing that every year.  My # 3 son is the one I have most contact with, but their all great kids, and am proud of them all .

I changed my profile pic.be cause it reminded me of when I used to eat bacon for breakfasts. I have given up eating bacon many years ago. They said it wasn't good for me. They seem to know a lot of stuff about what's good for another person. If one doesn't know what  to do , at any one time, just ask some buddy, and they always know what's good for you. Even when you don't ask, they always got two cents worth for you. It's kind of good that way. A person is never stuck for input. 

 Was cutting the lawn when these yo yo's came riding on their bikes, so I stopped for a smoke, and jawed a bit. My oldest son in shorts. My number three son, and his son. Kinda nice they come to see their old dad, or maybe they didn't have any thing else to do. I was thinken of having a smoke anyway.

 The wife Frances seems to like barbeque food. It seems, that I am spending a lot of time out here. Do one kind of think Frances is trying to get out of cooking. But on the other hand, when I am on the bbq, she is making other food inside. WORKS FOR ME.
